Privacy protection and cookie policy
Gaya S.r.l. provides the following information on the processing of personal data collected through your interaction with this website and any sub-domains redirected to it.
Cookies are pieces of code installed in the browser that help the Data Controller deliver the service for the purposes described. Some of these purposes may also require the User's consent.
Data Controller
Gaya S.r.l. – Via Marco Polo 6 – 20124 Milan (MI), Italy – VAT no. IT12832710961.

Use of cookies
When visiting a website, small amounts of information may be stored on the device in use, whether a computer or a mobile device, in small text files called “cookies”, saved in the folders used by the web browser. There are various types of cookies: some make the website more efficient to use, others enable specific features.
This website currently sets no cookies, either its own or third-party ones, and uses no analytics, advertising or profiling tools. Should any be introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required by law, the User's consent will be obtained before they are set.
Types of cookies
- Technical cookies: strictly necessary for some sections of a website to work properly. They can be persistent (they remain until a preset expiry date) or session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed). They do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies: collect information on how the website is used, in anonymous or aggregate form, for statistical purposes and to improve content. They may be sent by the website itself or by third-party domains.
- Third-party cookies: integrate features developed by third parties within the pages, such as social network buttons or embedded maps and videos. They are sent by domains outside the website.
- Profiling cookies: used to build user profiles in order to send advertising in line with the preferences expressed. This website does not use profiling cookies.
Local browser storage
To handle the transition animation between pages, the website stores a single technical item, “gs-tenda”, containing no personal data, in the browser's session storage. It is deleted when the tab is closed and cannot be accessed by other websites. The browsing language is determined by the page address and is not stored.
Contact forms
Through the “Contact the team” and “Submit your land” forms, the User voluntarily provides the data requested: full name, email, phone (optional), message and, for a land assessment, municipality, province, region, surface area and cadastral data.
The data are used solely to reply to the request and for any follow-up discussions, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request). They are not disclosed to third parties or used for marketing purposes, and are retained for as long as necessary to handle the request.
Third-party websites and services
The website contains links to other websites, including LinkedIn and Google Maps, which have their own privacy policies that may differ from this one and for which Gaya S.r.l. is not responsible. No content from these services is embedded in the pages: they are reached only if the User clicks on the related link.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. Instructions for the main browsers:
Data subject rights
The User may at any time exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, by writing to info@gaya-solar.it. The User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Given the complexity of identifying cookie-based technologies and their close integration with how the web works, the User is invited to contact the Data Controller for any further information.
